Payment/insurance information
Setting up your client portal is necessary to begin treatment. All documents and all payments are through an online encrypted portal with credit card. Payment is charged at time of service unless an alternative is mutually agreed upon between therapist and client. A receipt necessary for submitting an out of network service claim to your insurance for reimbursement (if you have a PPO insurance plan) can be uploaded to your portal monthly. Please note HMO insurance plans do not provide reimbursement for out of network services.
The law requires that I share the cost of treatment transparently. Initial Sessions are 60 minutes in length and the fee is $240, weekly 60 min. sessions are $240, weekly 45 minute sessions are $200, and collaborative consultation to support the clinical work is $240/hour prorated depending on the duration of the consult (and requires your signature to release your information). Aside from the agreed upon therapy fees and payment schedule, the state prohibits balance billing.
You will need to sign an office policy agreeing to the session fee and acknowledge an understanding that the reimbursement from insurance will be a different amount from the fee charged. The office is in the heart of Lexington Center, just off of Massachusetts Avenue. 10 Muzzey Street, Suite 9, is located in the rear of the building and can most easily be accessed from the Municipal parking lot. Follow the clearly marked "P" signs down one-way Muzzey Street - take a left into the lot. Follow the traffic circle around to the left, pass Michelson’s Shoes, and look for the “10” sign on the building to the left. The door is perpendicular to the Christian Science Reading Room. Head up the stairs and to the right into Suite 9. Parking is paid via the parking app.
